What’s On My Face Today? #2

Helloooo again! I hope you’re having a good day/afternoon/evening depending on where you are in the world. So I thought I’d do another what’s on my face post because… well I don’t know, just because. Today was not very interesting. I just chilled at home, went for some coffee and a spot of shopping (yes I have an addiction) and that was about it. Now I’m at home and just about to cook some dinner :). Anyway, I thought I’d share what products I used to do my makeup today, so here it goes.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

Guys… I think I’ve found my new holy grail foundation! Anyway, we will get to the review in a bit. first I’m gonna tell you a bit of information about the foundation and let you decide for yourself if it’s right for you 🙂

So, I am a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury as a brand. You can tell that Charlotte herself (I’m acting as if we are on a first name basis haha) is so passionate about her brand and every element of every product. She spent five years developing this foundation, making sure it was perfect and exactly what she wanted before she released it to the world. Charlotte Tilbury is a very high end brand and it’s pretty pricey but I can tell you that the quality of every product is phenomenal and definitely worth the price. There are 15 shades available so a great range and probably a colour to suit most skin tones.

Jacket: Zara

Leggings: River Island

Shoes: Vagabond

Bag: JustFab

Scarf: River Island

Basically my style consists of black, black and more black. I like to add some colour to an outfit with a statement scarf or bag. I’ve been thinking that I would like to include some more fashion posts on my blog. Would this be something you guys would want to see or should I stick to beauty? 🙂

Fleur De Force By Eyelure

Hey guys! I’m back with another post… this time it’s all about lashes!

I was really intrigued to try some pieces from the Eyelure Fleur De Force collection. I love buying products created by YouTubers because they work so hard and deserve support! I was browsing Boots and I saw a whole load of Fleur lashes… naturally I had to pick some up!

Firstly, I already love Eyelure lashes, so I had high expectations. Secondly, the collection looks lovely. She has created four styles.. One pack of individual lashes, two more natural looking lashes and one set of dramatic ones. I decided to go for the two more natural styles as this is what I prefer. The styles I picked up are called Simply Fleur and Fleur Loves.

Maybelline Color Show Nail Polishes

So there I was.. in Tesco.. doing my weekly food shopping and oops… I accidentally found myself in the makeup aisle. I was casually browsing the Maybelline stand when a big selection of beautiful, colourful nail polishes caught my eye. Underneath these beautiful nail polishes was a big ‘2 for £5’ sticker. This meant I saved £1 by buying two (they are £2.99 each) so of course, I bought three!? Why I didn’t buy four for £10 I don’t know, but three seemed enough in that moment.

I chose the shades 104 Noite De Gal (A very dark purple, almost looks black on the nails in some lights, perfect for autumn), 354 Berry Fusion (a beautiful metallic berry shade, also perfect for autumn), and 254 Latte (a gorgeous browny, pinky nude colour, perfect for every occasion).

Top 5 Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows

mug shadows

After longing for some Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows for a very long time, I finally decided to place an order and purchase some. Makeup Geek has a very good reputation in the beauty community for her exceptional quality eyeshadows at a very low price. I was so excited to try some and see if they lived up to the hype.

And my verdict? They definitely DO live up to the hype. The foiled eyeshadows in particular are such good quality I couldn’t believe they were only $9.99. The pigmentation is unreal, amazing colour payoff with just one touch of a brush. They are so buttery and smooth, and they swatch like a dream. They remind of MAC pressed pigments, but 100x more pigmented and sparkly (not chunky at all). There is no need for MAC fix plus with these!

I am an addict for all things sparkly, that’s why I was so tempted to try these. I have chosen five of my favourites from the collection and I wanted to share why I love each one. So here we go…

Six Autumn Lip Picks

Autumn is finally here! The best season of the year, and the time for rocking dark lips once again. I’ve chosen 6 lip  options from my collection which I love to wear in the autumn and I hope you find some inspiration from my choices!

1.. Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 01 (£5.49, here)
This is a true red, creamy matte lipstick. The formula of the Rimmel Kate Lipsticks is amazing, especially for the price. They are really affordable and last all day. The only con I would say about this is that it is slightly drying.

2. Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in 975 Divine Wine (£6.99, here)
This is probably my favourite of the bunch. It is a deep, dark, red wine colour (as the name suggests). It goes on soo smoothly and evenly, yet still looks matte, the colour is opaque after just one swipe (so pigmented), it’s not at all drying and basically.. I love it. I definitely want to try out more of the Maybelline Creamy Mattes range.
